Supporting children and families in our community impacted by domestic violence.

Our community recently witnessed how terrifying and heartbreaking it is when someone goes missing—especially when pregnancy and a known history of domestic violence are part of the story. While we are incredibly relieved to share that Allison Widener is safe, the road ahead for healing and stability is still long for her family—and for many other children and families in our community.

​

In response to the many people asking, “How can we help?” Silver Lining of Hope, Inc. is organizing this holiday drive to provide support and comfort to children impacted by domestic violence, including Allison’s children, while also extending support to other families through trusted local partners.

​

Donations will be distributed based on age and need, supporting Allison’s children and providing additional items to Alternatives Incorporated and Prevail, Inc., local domestic violence organizations serving Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Madison, Marion, Tipton counties, and surrounding areas.
